Overview

TankESC is an embedded systems project. The goal of the project is to design a digital electronic speed controller for a dual, brushed DC motor system in a "tank style" configuration. The target application is hobby level motor systems 1/10th scale and smaller.

The design is split up into multiple phases described below

Phase 1 - Mechanical Design Of Target Platform

This phase consists of mechanical design and fabrication. It is essentially the creation of a platform on which to test the projects electronic design.

Phase 2 - Electrical Hardware Design

This phase covers the electrical hardware design. It includes parts selection, schematics, pcb layouts, etc.

Phase 3 - Embedded Software Design

This phase walks through the embedded software design. Source code for this project is discussed in this section.
