About me

As the website suggests, my name is Nathan Brinks.

Here's a little history...
I grew up in the city of the Grand Rapids, Michgian. I graduated from Calvin College where I received my B.S.E. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering. The summer after my junior year at Calvin, I began an internship at Highlight Industries, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI. After graduation, I started working full time as an Electrical Engineer designing control systems for industrial packaging equipment. I survived through the late 2000s recession and still currently hold a full time position as an Electrical Engineer at Highlight Industries.

I have several interests, some more nerdy than others, such as: embedded systems, robotics, automation, cycling, photography, fishing, and geocaching.
